Join Dis-Chem Pharmacies as a Cleaner at Our Cape Road Store
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a dedicated and experienced cleaner to join our team at the Cape Road store. This role is essential in ensuring our store meets the highest hygiene standards. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout various areas, including the store floor, stock room, dispensary, administrative office, and canteen.
Key Requirements:
- Essential:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- At least 6 months of cleaning experience
- Proficiency in English
- Basic customer service skills
- Additional language skills relevant to the area
- Flexibility to work retail hours
- Advantageous:
- Bilingual communication skills
- Prior experience in cleaning a retail environment
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure the store, shop floor, and communal areas are clean and hygienic before opening.
- Develop and adhere to cleaning routines to maintain high standards throughout the store.
- Maintain cleanliness in the canteen and restrooms, ensuring supplies are always available.
- Be on hand during operational hours to address any cleaning needs.
- Utilize appropriate cleaning products and equipment for each task.
- Display wet floor signs clearly during floor cleaning.
- Provide friendly, professional assistance to customers.
- Adhere to Health and Safety Regulations in all duties.
