JOB DESCRIPTION:
Job Opening: Retail Manager at Robertville Branch, Gauteng.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Retail Manager for our Robertville Branch in Gauteng. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with site-specific security requirements and meeting the Client’s needs with exceptional professionalism. The Retail Manager will also be responsible for on-site training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relations: Foster strong relationships between Fidelity Security Services Group and our clients, ensuring top-tier security services.
- Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments and create strategic action plans to minimize stock losses.
- Shrinkage Control: Perform audits on client premises to identify and mitigate shrinkage risks.
- Training: Deliver targeted security training for on-site personnel.
- Service Evaluation: Regularly review and recommend service enhancements to combat stock losses.
- Premise Security: Continuously assess client premises to reduce unauthorized access and deter criminal activities.
- Reporting: Audit client registers, generate exception reports, and submit detailed monthly reports to both the Client and Management.
- Incident Investigation: Thoroughly investigate any reported stock losses.
- Meetings & Travel: Attend regular meetings with clients, and travel nationally as required.
- Vulnerability Analysis: Ensure the safety and efficiency of your store by performing a thorough vulnerability analysis.
- Effective Implementation of Security Protocols and Procedures: implementing robust security protocols and procedures is essential for protecting sensitive information and ensuring cybersecurity.
- Mastering the Operation and Maintenance of CCTV Systems: Enhance security and ensure optimal performance with expert guidance on surveillance system management.
- Maintaining Accurate Records and Documentation: Keeping precise and up-to-date records and documentation is crucial for businesses and individuals alike.
- Maximizing Loss Prevention with Advanced Data Analytics Techniques.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education: Matric certificate with Grade B PSIRA registration.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Security Operations within a retail or shopping center environment.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent staff management and disciplinary skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
- Leadership & Planning: Demonstrate solid operational planning, leadership, and organizational skills, combined with excellent interpersonal and client liaison capabilities.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work under pressure and beyond standard hours when necessary.
- Quality Management: Knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System.
- License & Transportation: Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transport.
- Professionalism: Well-presented and no criminal record, readiness to travel nationally.
