Join our client’s team in Kempton Park as a professional and friendly Receptionist. Job Purpose:

Your main responsibility will be to manage the reception area, ensuring exceptional service for both visitors and callers. Requirements:

Minimum Education (Essential):

  • National Senior Certificate (Matric)

Minimum Education (Desirable):

  • Certificate in Business Administration, Office Administration, Secretarial Studies, or an equivalent qualification

Experience:

  • 2-4 years in a similar role

Experience Needed:

  • Performing receptionist or front-office duties
  • Providing excellent customer service and managing visitor interactions
  • Operating a switchboard and supporting general administrative tasks

Essential Skills and Knowledge

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Basic technical troubleshooting skills (e.g., handling switchboard or AV equipment)
  • Proficiency in maintaining a professional and organized workspace

Additional Requirements:

  • Bilingual proficiency in Afrikaans and English is a must

Switchboard and Communication

  • Manage the switchboard by directing calls, taking messages, and assisting callers as needed
  • Log technical issues with the switchboard or branch office extensions, ensuring quick resolution
  • Provide clear and accurate communication to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor in all interactions

Maintenance of Reception and Meeting Areas

  • Keep reception areas, display sections, meeting rooms, and boardrooms tidy, clean, and professional at all times
  • Ensure meeting rooms are cleared and cleaned after use, ready for the following day
  • Monitor and maintain the functionality and setup of audio-visual and computer equipment in meeting rooms
  • Promptly report any maintenance or equipment issues
