Are you ready to become our newest Purple Star? We have an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Clerk at our Mthatha branch in the Eastern Cape. This role involves assisting clients with account inquiries—whether on mobile, online, or via Phone-A-Bet—and resolving betting-related questions. You’ll play a key role in delivering proactive and efficient customer service, engaging with punters, and promoting our mobile platform and betting products. Additionally, you’ll help achieve mobile sales targets and expand our mobile customer and new account base, offering frontline support to account holders.

What You’ll Contribute to Our Brand:

• Follow the Hollywood Dress Code: Adhere to the required Hollywood attire as specified by company guidelines.
• Client Support: Address account and betting inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
• New Account Setup: Assist clients in creating Hollywood accounts to facilitate betting via mobile devices, the website, or the Phone-A-Bet call center.
• Achieve Sales Targets: Focus on increasing the mobile customer base and opening new accounts daily. Demonstrate mobile site features, usage, and services to encourage mobile betting. Provide user-specific training to ensure customers can navigate the mobile app confidently.
• Lead Mobile Marketing Campaigns: Execute effective campaigns in your branch or across multiple branches to boost mobile sales, stakes, and new account openings.
• Promote the Mobile Brand: Organize and maintain engaging displays within the branch to attract both new and existing customers.
• New Customer Registration: Ensure all new accounts meet FICA compliance. Accurately scan and submit required documents, including a clear ID and proof of address no older than 3 months, to the FICA department.
• Encourage Sign-Up Bonus Usage: Guide new customers in using their sign-up bonus for betting and educate them on placing bets via the mobile app.
• Maintain a Professional Environment: Keep workspaces clean and organized to uphold a positive image for customers.
• Accurate Cash Handling: Carry out cash ups following standard procedures and report any discrepancies to management immediately.
• Safekeeping of Equipment: Manage and maintain mobile equipment and inventory responsibly.
• Engage with Customers: Act proactively by approaching and interacting with customers on-site, promoting Hollywood, and offering excellent customer service.
• Utilize Helpdesk Terminals: Use these tools to attract and engage with potential bettors.
• Flexibility Across Locations: Be prepared to travel between branches as required by operational needs.
• Other Related Responsibilities: Take on additional tasks to support branch operations effectively.
