Position Overview: Site Security Manager.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The primary goal of this Site Security Manager role is to ensure compliance with specific security protocols and to consistently meet the Client’s expectations with professionalism and efficiency. A key responsibility is to oversee the deployment of Security Officers within the Estate.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) certificate or equivalent education.
  • PSIRA Grade A registered and accredited.
  • Clean criminal record with no pending cases.
  • Valid driver’s license with access to reliable transportation.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Residential/Estate Security.
  • Proven staff management experience.
  • Proficiency in computer use and strong administrative skills.
  • Residence near Centurion is preferred.
  • Willingness to work shifts and conduct site visits after hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Foster and maintain strong relationships between Fidelity Security Services and the client to ensure effective security service delivery.
  2. Ensure timely posting of Security Officers to designated positions.
  3. Confirm that Security Officers meet all client-stipulated contractual obligations.
  4. Continuously assess and recommend service level improvements to the client.
  5. Conduct ongoing evaluations of the Client’s premises to minimize risks and enhance security barriers.
  6. Perform daily audits and verifications of access registers; prepare exception reports as needed.
  7. Oversee general management and supervision of the security team, addressing administrative inquiries promptly.
  8. Manage all new business projects to ensure smooth transitions.
  9. Handle HR-related issues efficiently.
  10. Investigate security incidents and prepare comprehensive weekly/monthly reports for management.
  11. Attend regular meetings with FSS Management and the Client.
  12. Analytical and Organizational Skills as a A key aspect of the role involves strong analytical skills to effectively interpret data and insights.
