The South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) acknowledges an episode of The Hustlers Corner SA, which was published on YouTube on Monday, February 17, 2025, in which Mr. Nhlamulo ‘Nota’ Baloyi articulated various opinions regarding white individuals.
The Commission confirms that its Gauteng Provincial Office has initiated an investigation into this matter on its own accord. Additionally, the Commission has received multiple complaints concerning Mr. Baloyi. The situation is currently under evaluation, and the Commission will decide on the appropriate course of action, which may involve initiating proceedings in the relevant Equality Court in accordance with section 13(3)(b) of the South African Human Rights Commission Act 40 of 2013 (SAHRC Act), in conjunction with section 20 of the Promotion of Equality and Prevention of Unfair Discrimination Act, 2000.
